We've booked it for Easter for a week. Scotland has had to be cancelled, and was desperate to camp so saw that you had managed to find this and hey presto I phoned and booked it.
|Still going Scotland to see family but will be another camping trip though
Cheers for letting us know.
you're welcome you will have to let me know what it's like and give me some tips as you go before me
I'm back and will put a review of the site under the camp site search thing.
All I can say is that I am glad we went and used the vouchers. Don't think I would have paid the full price but would return if they did the same offer again next year, though would choose a different week as the schools have not broken up and this means most places haven't opened up for the start of the season.
Some nice places to visit locally and some are free though not advertised well.
Would definately go back to visit the area again, but may check out other campsites. There was one connected to a brewery that caught my eye.
The pool was empty so can't comment on that. The bar was only open at the weekend but they were friendly enough and it seems entertainment starts now we have left, but it did give my daughter the chance to sing and dance on stage instead.
The laundry room was ok and cleaned our clothes well and was open all night and day.
The games room was ok but we only had a nose.
The ladies toilets were ok and the showers were nice and warm once the water had run for a while, but the floor soon gets wet.
The gents so I am told were not as nice as the ladies.
The playground looked really nice but some of the kids started to pick on our daughter but the parent brought the kids down and made them apologise.
The site has a very slight slope, but is well kept.
It was lovely and quiet, but then it wasn't in season when we went.
The nearest shop (Spar) is about a mile away and has most of what is needed in the way of provisions, but is on the expensive side.
There is a very nice camping shop though on the main road to Cardigan which sells everything that you can think of for camping, from foot pumps to ehu, from gas to cutlery.
