Same here, my family are counting down the minutes where I'm surviving by buying anything and everything camping related.

We have a couple of bookings but will get out this coming weekend somewhere reasonably local if the heavy rain stays away.

I must stop looking on eBay though, my postman is looked very stressed.lol

Hahaha - know how you feel. 24 sleeps for me and I'm so excited. Need to get away soon as the wait is costing me a fortune - keep visiting Go Outdoors for a tent fix. Spent £47 there yesterday (thankfully didn't also buy another tent but it was a close call).

Pitching both tents in the garden this weekend (weather permitting) to make sure all is in order so hopefully that will stop me spending!

I'm so looking forward to going camping this year.

We have not been now for 4-5 years, as we have a young family and not enough hours in a day xxxx

We are hoping to go.... May time, nothing booked yet as need to purchase a trailer first.  Will be taking Hubby, Kids, 8 - 4 and 2

Really looking forward to using our new tent - purchased late last year - upgraded from 3/4 berth to 6 berth - v. exciting

Want to stay local for our first venture in xxxxx years - so any god suggestions for somewhere - South Yorkshire - would be great.

Yeah, I'm excited too as I'm going away in 2 weeks!! You just have to share it on this forum with those who feel the same way. No one around here jumps up and down in excitement at the prospect. In fact, when it came up in conversation with friends yesterday that I'd actually been camping out in the garden a week before, they just about rolled on the ground laughing!

Me + Hubby + Daughter 8 yrs, Son 4 yrs and Daughter 2 years - we are also from Donny

Our first camping trip of the year starts this Friday in the Lakes. We are on EHU and the OH has her own new selk/musuc bag so not too bad.

Really enjoyed unpacking and checking the tent last week in the lovely weather as when I packed it away last august it was during a relentless heavy downpour. 

I was slightly more nervous with our tent being polycotton so wanted to make sure the drying over the banister once home was sucessful etc.

Can't wait!!

I'm getting really excited too... I'm picking up my glow in the dark hard pegs tonight and I've just got a set of roof bars from eBay to use with my Dad's roof box... and guess what that means - I CAN NOW FIT MORE THINGS IN THE CAR!

A trip to Go Outdoors is definitely in order!
