Not that anyone missed me, obviously, but I missed you guys!

We're huge camping fans and enjoyed many soggy camping trips in the UK over the last few years.

Last July, we moved to the Algarve and until now we haven't been able to camp. It was too hot during the summer, we didn't have a big enough car/car with towbar (we had our trailer and camping gear shipped over for us!) and then the kids started school so we've not had chance to go...until now!

We have our first camping trip planned for the first week of the Easter holidays.
The weather is already beautiful. It's a little bit changeable but it's mostly warm and sunny (and still a million times better than most of what we camped through in the UK!)

We're all VERY excited. The boys have been nagging to go camping from the moment we arrived here.
Not sure if we'll manage so many big trips because, after Easter, the next time the boys are off school is the main summer hols.
They break up 22nd June and we have a trip back to UK (to visit family etc) booked for beginning of July but we might get a week in before that...and before it gets too hot!
I suspect that, by the time we get back from the UK, it'll be too hot to camp again

Anyway, very excited to be back and to have a trip planned
Yay!!

So....what have I missed?

Tracey

Wind, rain, snow and midges. Oh I nearly forgot: beautiful views, great company, a lot of laughs and a lot more memories. I hope your camping there gives you as much pleasure
