I'd say go for it if you have the chance to get away.
If you have EHU and a fan heater you will be warm but remember that layers work best (both under your bed and on your body!)

If she still won't go with you, go on your own!

show her this website and how we all have been camping with fan heaters, no problems with cold if you take enough stuff, we left the heater on all night and had a 2 season bag duvet and a fleece blanket to go ontop of campbeds and had no problems, we also took fleece sleeping bag liners hot water bottles and extra fleece blankets but didnt need them, we put the heater on an hour before we got into the tent for the night and it was loverly walking into it  from the cold air outside.

get her to come and visit you, put heater on as suggested then when it gets cold and she wants to go home invite her into your tent with a hot drink and let her feel the difference. may just sway her.

it's a 'go' from me, find an EHU site and chill, hopefully outside and then at night if temp drops flick your heater on

you can always go home if you hate it!

GO GO GO!!! Yes it may be a bit chilly at night but you sound like you are prepared for that. Why dont you suggest you make tea one night or even better go somewhere local for eats if poss. The only other main difference about April camping is it does get dark earlier so bear that in mind. Otherwise go+enjoy yourselves. If OH still not up for it then go yourself. Plenty others would

Get out there by yourself and enjoy a bit of time off from the OH. Most would beg for such an opportunity

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again

We were absolutely freezing in the first week in July last year. Suntans during the day, but the temp still drops quite a lot at night.
We were completely unprepared though and thought we would be warm enough with only thin jim jams and a fleece blanket. You live and learn - so long as you are prepared you will be absolutely fine. Next night with more clothes and proper sleeping bags we were toasty warm.
Go for it, you'll really enjoy it.

Go for it. Get an EHU pitch, and take a fan heater.

Make sure she keeps warm in a sleeping bag if it gets nippy in the evening, and use hot water bottles where necessary to warm the bed.

"last wee's" may be an issue, consider taking a bucket

I wish I could get my OH out this early in the season :(

I would say GO but the only thing with EHU , fan heater and a poly tent is that it does generate loads more condensation so just be sure that you can dry the tent out at the end of the trip. Also make sure that you insulate your bed!!!
