Umm... real coffee and a cafetiere ... really good down sleeping bags .. Hubster insists on down pillows off the bed ... not much else really ... I just want to get away from "stuff and things".
I think the main luxury is one extra pair of dry shoes and socks under the front passenger seat .. just for me. That's the thing that's made me happiest on the odd occasion I've needed them.
our porta potti 345 costs me a tenner about 5 years ago off a friend... hardly been used ...honestly...we only use it for number ones but its a luxury when you dont have to walk to the nearest toilet block in the middle off the night especially if its raining and even if its not.. i always feel embaressed when i unpack this from car to take it into tent..does anyone else
Our Lafuma RSX Padded recliners they cost £115 each 15 years ago! but they are still as good as when we got them. They seemed very expensive at the time but you get what you pay for and as they have lasted so long they work out at just £8 per year so far. But sheer luxury.

As of our next trip our luxury will be our Outwell Posadas double folding bed. Fed up with blowup mattresses and Self inflaters. A bit of comfort when sleeping is my idea of sheer luxury.

Cool campers use Delta Pegs.
The happiest people aren't the ones who have everything they are the ones who make the most of everything they have
For me its my snuggie (if OH or the kids dont nick it!!), proper pillows, hot water bottle, a proper cup and a real wine glass (bought 4 for 90p in Morrisons so not a hardship if they get broken).
We took our porta potti on its first outing last weekend and it was a godsend. I didnt understand why people took a toilet camping if there were facilities on site but it does make life so much easier - especially with the kids. There seem to be loads of people on here with their own toilet but you dont often see toilet tents - or at least I havent noticed them before! I dont get embarrassed about it - and we cant keep our loo in the tent because there isnt room. I never thought a little toilet tent would become such an essential addition to our camping kit!!!
