Okay. I bought the outwell Nevada M from gooutdoors on Boxing day. Put it up last weekend in the garden and everything was fine. But when I was putting it up on friday while away the stitching from the strap that holds it to the extension which you clip over the tent came undone. Do I take this back and ask them to exchange? Do I ring outwell and speak to them or do I have to buy a new one? Not 100 percent sure if I still have the receipt but would it show up on my membership card that I bought it

I should take it back, if you're not happy to repair yourself.

Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.

Take it back to the shop you got it from, it shouln't rip that easy and their not cheap. I think it should show up on your membership card or maybe if the bar code is still on it?

Same happened to ours, but it was in a 40mph wind last year. As we were 200 miles from home a needle and thread and 10 minutes and it was sorted - quicker than taking it back and the repair was better than new.

I had to do the same yesterday on a clip on our Vango which came off after daughter tripped over the inner.

Your purchase will show up on your buying record at GO - we took a wind up light back with no receipt. It's one advantage of the membership system - they know all your purchases.

Go are great because they have your record on your membership card, your purchase also has a 12months guarantee so they will exchange it. we had a broken zip on our bedroom pod that was nearly 12 months old and they exchanged it for a new one. phone them first to see what they recommend. Or if you cant be bothered with the messing then fix it yourself if possible.

Please do not try to repair it yourself. You may invalidate your rights to have it repaired/replaced by the seller if you do.

You contract is with Go not Outwell, so take it back to them. I am sure they will sort it for you.

Yep they sorted it. Just a strait swap over no bother what so ever. All those people that only have bad things to say about Go couldn't be more wrong. Didn't have receipt so they found it through my card. Roll on my next camping trip

Pleased to hear that. I have heard good and bad about Go, but so far I have no personal experience to share (good or bad)
