Used our tent for the first time on friday night , only took us THREE hours to get it up, but thats another story! As we were packing away yesterday, I noticed what looks like double elastic 'hairband' type rings at the bottom of the tent, along the skirt bit. What are these for? Im pretty sure we didnt have pegs through them - should we have done? We have an Outwell Nevada M.
Ah, ok! Thats another thing to add to the pitching the tent list, along with zipping up the doors and making sure that the straps are fully extended! Oh, and checking the pitch position that the OH has selected, making sure that there isnt a dirty big dip (that you cant see properly because of how the grass has been cut) right in the middle where the bedrooom pod is....

Oh the DIP I found that one on my last trip too
Or the slight slope that causes your air bed to slide to the edge of the bedroom pod every time you turn over You then end up with your face buried in the pod material and wake up in a panic
Oh yes you got off lightly
