You may find that a normal airbed may not be adequate.  If your son is anything like my two they are all over the place in their sleep and you may spend half the night lifting him back onto it.

The toddler airbeds are good as they cant fall out.  If you google this I am sure you will find many other suppliers.  If you do source one, just remember to insulate it well as airbeds can be a bit chilly with all that cold air inside.

Readybeds are good, it's a sleeping bag with airbed attached. They are in Asda if you need one quickly.

Will second the Kampa Airlock junior bed - my daughter does a good impression of a tasmanian devil in her sleep, and doesn't fall out.

Otherwise you can get foam bumpers on Amazon that can be stuffed under a sheet over a normal airbed?

SIM for us - we tried a ready bed, but DS just spent the whole night falling off of it... which involved much wailing and trashing around. A decent sleeping bag and a picnic blanket / fleecey throw underneath, and we don't hear a peep out of him till morning.

We were worried about escape - but now always put the zips to the top. He's just learnt to crawl out of the pointless weather window on our outwell though, but we think he'll be too big soon...
