What a lovely tent. Is that a true Pyramid style then? (see, I don't know everything, & still have to ask stupid questions every now & then)
Have you heard of "Clingons" They are a re-usable, movable eyelet. They may come in handy for your porch/tarp thingy.
I just received mine today, the people selling them are very nice, with plenty of communication. I'll see if I can find a link to their product.
Edit;
Funnily enough if you just type "clingons.co.uk" into your address bar you'll find out what I'm going on about!
Yep, that shape of tent is pyramid (a tipi with 1 vertical side really).
Clingons & Kwik Klips both handy bits of emergency kit to carry, I have a few of both for extra fixings on the tarp sometimes when I use it fully extended or on my 4m one. The Kwik Klips with with bungee are very good.
Great that you put the pitching pictures here, which make me better understand the construction. I have a mad dream about sewing my own tiny lightweight nylon pyramide tent, so I can fly to the UK and use public transport for camping and still have a "proper" tent!
