Hi guys i`am looking for one of these with the RCD and a couple of sockets, but they all seem to be silly money £50+ anybody know where I can get one cheaper, (tried ebay)
Last year they were nearly all £39.99, this season they all seem to be £49.99.
Now, I know a little bit about inflation but that's ridiculous! Luckily I'm still a qualified electrician, so had a suitable set-up already, although I never have hook-up, just a small inverter, which need an RCD even more than a normal supply, as most inverters have no earth! (I've looked inside).
Good luck on your search, I've found ebay gets regularly beaten by Amazon these days. It's no longer the bargain site it used to be. You could try there (Amazon, that is). Or I'm sure one of our good members will find you one.
the ones at aldi are brilliant. I bought 1 and noticed on the back that they are actually branded as sunncamp. Also, with the 3 year guarantee, you simply cant go wrong-if you can get 1 that is. It is a few weeks ago since they first got them in store.

Look on this website -delightful-uk.com. 25m hook up & reel, 4 sockets, thermal cut out, arctic grade. £32.99. I have also seen them for £29.99 on one of the camping sites but can't remember which one! Sorry!
BEWARE a thermal cut out is no NO SUBSTITUTE for a RRCD it only cuts out if the cable overheats and offers NO PROTECTION against an ELECTRIC SHOCK

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
These so called campsite electric hook up cables from delightful-uk.com are good examples of what NOT to buy. I don't know how they get away with selling them as camping EHU cables...they are just household extensions and many campsites would not allow them.
