With most tents having a sig these days, and the weather being warmer this time of year, I was wondering how many people use their bedroom pods. I don't bother putting mine in if i am only camping for a night or two, but will use them if camping for a week or more.
Don`t have a bedroom in my bell tent, although I do pack some mosquito nets that we can hang from the centre pole if needed. I have always used a bedroom pod in my other tents, because we rarely stay for only 1 night.

I see where you are coming from, but to me it's as much about keeping the two spaces separate - living and sleeping. The pod stays clipped into the fly and takes no putting up as such.
I have an inner for the bell tent but really just for cold weather. I'd rather do without it as it doesn't leave much living space in the rest of the tent.
My bedroom pod is sewn in too, so don't have the choice. But I prefer a separate bedroom pod because if you keep the doors closed all day you keep the insects out, and at least you've got one bug free place to retreat to.
We always use an inner when we both camp in the Cabanon. In the Combi Camp we used the inner, but left the doors tied back - hot weather anyway. When I camped on my own in the Raclet QT with sig I didn't bother with the inner as I wanted to put my bed the other way around, & it was fine.
Go for what you feel happy with. When you think of the small tents, they don't have separate bedrooms - so why should you need one because your tent is bigger.
I use the inner pods, my eldest retreats into there when she wants some time away from her baby sister and zips herself in. Am very tempted to do the same and leave the zips right at the top where they can't reach them!
Its a yes to bed pods from me have to put the kids somewhere at night
