Thanks everyone, this is a bit of an unusual one for us because we normally use C&CC Certified Sites where it isnt an issue. We are going away for a couple of nights as a treat for my son and he really wants to go to a particular site that is a bit more commercialised. I am fairly sure that if I ask the question they will say they dont allow utility tents and then I have no choice.
The whole thing about utility tents really annoys me, especially as we are not asking to take up a huge amount of space, its just nicer to have the cooking stuff separate, and also good to have somewhere extra for storage.
I think I am just going to put it up and then if anyone challenges us I will take it down. I wouldnt deliberately flout the rules if they were spelled out - if they have a big sign saying no utility tents then I will accept that.
Oh and I would happily pay a bit extra too, its not really about the cost.
