Just getting all the camping things from the spare room, under my grandsons bed and out of the cupboard under the stairs into the dinning room. OMG so much stuff, Never mind it will be worth it in the end. I have been looking forward to this since the second week of January. Tomorrow morning we shall be making our way to the Gower Coast.I hope every one that is going away this weekend a safe journey and a wonderful holiday Happy Days
We are going to Bank Farm in Horton. The OH and I were there last year enjoyed it so much it's got a lovely view of the sea managed to get the same pitch as well. Oxwich Bay is nice used to go there when I was little on our Sunday School outings or Langland Bay and then onto the Mumbles for tea Happy Days
two weeks ago we were camping in Preston for 2 nights....our car (Zafira) was rammed with stuff...plus 5 people....
in about 45 mins, we're leaving to camp at Exeter for 3 nights...this time we have our roof bag...and guess what...despite this being full..the car is STILL rammed with stuff....wtf is it coming from????
------------- Half Empty or Half Full, it doesn't matter..it simply means there is room for more beer in your glass!!
Hiyas, i blame the camping fairies lol. We have a Zafira too....our first trip ..a week end trip all was fine car packed to bursting us & 2 kids. The 2nd trip was same ...but we seemed to have now acquired a roof bag by this time & guess what the car was still packed to bursting lol.
We always struggle on the journey home. I seem to manage to pack it in really well when we set off (we have a Zafira too!) but coming home it never goes in the same.
We have managed to get 4 trips in so far this year and I am hoping to get away again before our main summer hols. Hope everyone has great time!

This is a wonderful site, my uncle has a static there. Used to visit a lot as a kid, beautiful scenery.
We have the same issue with too much stuff. Just back from a week in Caen and I packed the car really well on the way there. But on the way back it just never fits in quite right.
We are not going until end of July but i am going to get everything out to check what we have tomorrow as i want to do a list so i can ensure everything is there.
