Have a lovely time - hope you come back more in love with the tent than when you went.

Have a fabulous time and hope all goes easy with your new tent! We are watching the weather and may go local too in the morning if rain stays away. Enjoy :)
------------- It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

That's the problem. You need as much stuff for a night as you need for a fortnight with the exception of the clothes and the food. I've struggled to keep the packing light for quick weekends away too and I think I've got a reasonably good balance by using two clear 30 Litre boxes to store all the bits and bobs in which stays in the shed ready to go.
