Hi, have made myself a 12v supply for air bed pump, reasone being, the 4d pump not realy up to it, i got two.. 4 d battery holders wired them in series to a 12v socket from pound shop, and works a treat. I made it for when we go camping and we cant get car close enough to the tent to use car socket.

It is easy, but if any one want more info would be more than willing to help.

Hmmm, not always a solution. I've ocassionally seen people struggling through the wind and rain carrying fully-inflated double airbeds from their car to their pitch. I confess I have found the spectacle very amusing

Skip shhh i got criticised for finding this sort of thing amusing flying air beds or the asmatic wheeze of the pump at 2am then again at 5
all in all another reason not to like airbeds dont have either problem with a SIM

I just made up an extension lead to go from the 12V outlet in the car to the pump inside the tent and now I don't have to worry about parking the car in the entrance to tent.
But your battery pack sounds just as good.

Just to add it sounds like good idea if you really want an air bed . I wonder if one of those cordless drill type compressers would work ?

I use a jump start power pack.  Inflate air beds in bedroom pod.  Powerpack is then used to recharge phones. ds's - even had a TV running off it for a few hours.  Powerpack can then be charged while you are driving if you go out in the car for the day!  I got a cheap one for about £25
