We had a new CH system fitted 3 years back, the redundant hot water tank was of course removed from the airing cuboard, which made for the perfect size space for our canvas tent and canvas kitchen tent. happpy days.

As long as it's not up against any hot pipes I can't see a problem.

All my camping gear including tent and footprint but excluding gas canisters are stored in a walk-in boiler room/airing cupboard.
