Hello everyone! I have been lurking for quite a while so I finally decided to join in the fun and introduce myself. Hubby and I are newbie to camping.
I went camping once with my primary school, in an old fashioned ridge tent with only an old sheet as a ground sheet and it was fab!!! Then fast forward 20 years and husband and I went on our first trip after buying a small quechua pop-up tent. It rained constantly, I fell in the mud while visiting, had forgotten to take some clean trousers, the mattress kept deflating, we were cold, had nothing to cook with and spent all our evening cramped up inside when it was raining. And guess what? We loved it!!!!!
We then got a Carolina 3 at a reduced price and went camping for longer and it was bliss. For 2 years however, we have not been camping anywhere and I miss it so much!
So I'm determined to fit 4 or 5 days camping by the end of August and I'm already getting all excited about choosing a site and everything. We've also decided to go to France next summer so that's another thing to look forward to!
I have learnt a lot already, just reading reviews and using the search option. So many things we didn't know and that will make our stays even better in the future. So thanks everyone!

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
