Just been to buy some pegs for our forthcoming weekend. Whilst there I had a quick look at the tents (as you do)..... and have fallen in love with the Outwell Haiwai Reef! Yes I know its a 5 man just like my Nevada M, but its orange, and gorgeous AND it smells like a proper tent! My mocca tent just looks drab in comparison....
Only problem is the orange would clash with the car.....
No a megane in a bright turquoise blue! That orange would not look good next to it, and I do like my colours to co-ordinate! If I bought it Id also have to change all the other gear (colour co-ordinated) Ive got to go with the mocca nevada.... oh well, a girl can dream..... ;o)
I love that tent too, my poor nevada is soooo boring by comparison. But when I saw one in the flesh it looked quite faded, the Bear Lake next to it looked better with nice strong colour so now im undecided!
The pics dont do it justice, its actually a deep chocolate brown and orange (or topaz as outwell call it). Being inside it reminded me of sunlight through orange squash, it was actually really nice. The bedrooms were nice and dim, and I couldnt believe how much cooler canvas is once inside. As much as I liked the tent, I didnt like the matching accessories - they were just yuck!
My oh would love a focus st, however he wants the kawasaki green one, and that would go much better with the nevada ;o)
I liked the inside of it, nice and sunny, not sure if I would feel the same at 5am! It was the outside that looked faded, but then I don't know how many months they had had it set up in the direct sun. I still like it though but OH doesn't :(
Strange you say that about orange tents making your eyes go funny - I have the same problem with blue tents! They really make me feel unwell for some reason.
I quite fancied this colour too........then I went inside with OH and we both said Errrggghhh, not very restful, far too bright and enough to give you a migraine. Needs toning down for me.

Hasn't anyone stood inside one of these orange tents? I have, and it's horrible! My eyesight hasn't been the same since!
I was about to say the same. I love orange and thought these looked great from the outside, but I felt quite sick standing inside on a sunny day!
After wandering round the camping show I'm still convinced my Nevada M is the best :-)
We own this tent and love it. It was a windy, grey miserable day when we saw this one on display and once inside it felt like you had the sun with you, a defo feel good factor, great, as most of our weather seems to consist of many days that are grey and miserable!!! Our one concern was the fading of the orange but we were told it would take about 4 years to get to that stage as theirs had been on show for roughly 4 months. I think its about time some snazzy colours were introduced into camping, they did years ago. I agree with madamezsazsa on the blue colour, it makes me rather depressive. But each to their own, wouldn't do for us all to like the same!!
