Might be an idea to rinse it very well ! One of the warnings on the C&C Club site for tents is keep all fabrics that contain detergent away from the waterproof part of your tent ..... seems they fear when wet any detergent getting onto the flysheet might damage the waterproof coating. In fact they even suggest not to dry towels on the guy ropes for that reason.
i'd better add that if you do choose to wash it in a washing machine, DO NOT spin it...the nature of the waterproof SIG means that during the washing process you'll end up with a heavy bag of water that could potentially cause damage to the bearings...therefore i would advise you to remove the sleeping pod after washing/before spinning and transfer it to the bath or sink for its final hand rinse...you can then safely empty all the trapped water out before hanging it up to dry...
