Hi guys, not been on for a while but now ready for 2nd yr as a novice camper!!!! looking at a site but has 'rock pegs' recommended. Are these better than than the ones you drill in? just worried i'm going to get these pegs in but can never remove? please help

I bought a couple of cases like this when they were recommended at a site and they worked brilliantly. They are basically 6 inch nails that mean you can really whack them into harder ground with a proper hammer. Regular pegs would bend.

A cheap and easy one to get hold of are the groundhogs from Halfords, the green plastic tops tent to break if hit with the hammer so I just push the tops down the nail a bit first. You can use a rubber mallet but if the ground is really hard it can damage the mallet.
Does it say why they recommend them, it might be because they are sticking you on an all weather pitch.
