Hi all

When I pack my tent away do I leave the bedrooms in or Not if so do I leave them attached or unhook them.

We left ours in although if there is alot of condensation make sure you dry out thoroughly before putting tent away especially after the last camp of the season.

When I had a tent with a loose groundsheet I found having to keep putting the inner in and attaching all the hooks, especially on a hot day, a bit of a chore. The tent I have now with a SIG had the inner already attached from new and I have never bothered to take it out. I leave the door open when packing the tent away to help get all the air out and I occasionally look underneath to make sure I am not growing mushrooms or the groundsheet hasn't become damaged. Apart from that I tend to forget it can be removed and the tent is erected and taken down 'as one'.

We have a Bear Lake 4, and always leave the bedrooms in and hooked up. We do the same with the ZIG. It just seems to make life easier for us, although the tent bag is really quite heavy, and it takes two of us to carry it.

we leave ours in most of the time, however if packing up in the rain we remove them first in order to keep them dry...if we had a tent that was prone to condensation tho we'd remove them every time just to enable us to air them separately from the tent and make sure they're 100% dry...
