whoooohooo mainly because i didnt think i would get it all in.
Years of practise came in handy with packing for trips to the norfolk broads.

We are only going for 2 nights but ..............
looks like we are glamping lol

For longer trips looks like a roofbox or trailer or both.

Just beginning the process here!  Husband asking my opinion of what to take/pack and then saying "Well I think..."   We don't have to begin pitching to start a 'debate'. 

I just keep imagining having set the tent up and sitting with my glass of wine in the open air...bliss....

Hi all,

My OH will be home in the next hour and we will be packing. Again, don't know how it all will fit in, it barely did last year and this year have more things and larger tent. Hm. Hey ho. We'll get there somehow!

As soon as I finish work the packing begins ( trailer) OH is not going but will still be hovering and moaning that I am not packing it right ( being a mere woman who usually camps without him what do I know) Setting off Sunday for 6 nights in Cromer can't wait

we are in the process of packing woo hoooo... off to Thetford Forest tomorrow for a week, cannot wait... first camping trip of the year.

Tried to cut down on what we took last year. 2 ad, 2 kids, estate car, trailer and roof box all full.... At the moment, still room in the trailer and the car boot not full.... hmmm what have we forgotten???? seem to have everything... maybe we have just gotten better at packing.

We are off on Monday only 2 more sleeps trailer packed, car packed nearly, and like farnboroughandy we seem to have alot more room than usual, a bit worring lol

Woohoo, we are off for a short break too!!! Our Annual Holiday this year was tied up with our first grandchild being born. No camping, just tent(erhooks!!!!!!!)

FarnboroughAndy....see you there! We will be the 2 solitary adults with a trailer and bikes on the roof!

One reason why not to get a roofbox over a trailer....we never had any intention of buying bikes but once camping we got into hiring bikes at various places and going off for rides. We can put the bikes on a towbar carrier but we can't put the trailer on the roof!
