I'm thinking about getting a dongle for mobile internet as a site review on here of the C&CC site at Bala says the wifi isn't particularly good, does anyone know which company has the best coverage in Wales ie Three, Vodafone etc I've been on all their sites to check coverage but most seem patchy.

i think the gang of us that paddle, have between us all networks and never ever get a signal once we pass over the bridge into bala and swing a right on to the a4212 once where on that road pfffft signals drop like bricks in water

We were in Tywyn area last week and I couldn't get a Virgin phone signal anywhere other than the promenade.

We're using a Three dongle and got excellent reception, all phones are on Virgin, good coverage in general but kept dropping out coming back to Bala from Anglesey.

Don't forget if you have a smart phone you can use the portable hotspot. I don't use site wifi much now (unless I can't get a signal).

We had to leave early, due to a family problem, we were pitched at the top end on the right hand side. View from our tent....play park to the right and toilets/shower further down behind the caravan on the left.
