Thinking of getting one of these for space-saving reasons, has anyone else got one and is it any good? Thanks very much!

If I was that tight on space I'd just use a cooking pot to boil the water for tea tbh.

Saw them at The Cotswold Show and liked the bright colours but disliked cost. I found them a bit difficult to collapse, but then, I have similar problems with collapsable bowls and sieves.

Personally I don't think it's worth the price. If you were struggling for space I agree with Val, just use a pan with a lid.
Additionally, it doesn't look as though its got a whistle, which is the whole point of having a proper kettle for camping - the whistle!!!

I bought one earlier this year, and it was a bit pricey, but it collapsed into a very small space right down to the metal base and boiled nicely, however I was trying it out on the kitchen hotplate and forgot to take it off, left it for about an hour and it had boiled dry and melted the join between the base and the side. To say I was cheesed off is an understatement!
I bought a nice new camp kettle with a folding handle...

Ah - but do you forget to put the lid down when you boil the kettle? The amount of times I have been waiting for the distinctive whistle, thinking its taking ages, only to realise I've forgotten to put the lid down, and half my gas has now gone
