....and hoping for better weather tomorrow (fingers tightly crossed )

My car is all packed up and we are sneaking away for the weekend. I'm going tomorrow lunchtime and setting up with the children. My husband is following along later after work.

Again, another last minute decision and I managed to grab a cancellation at Harwicks Parks with hook up yesterday.

The reason I'm stupidly excited - I'm taking my Relum Izmir.

It's the first chance I have had to camp in it since managing to get it in May - rather than put it up in the garden. The solar fairy lights are packed, so nothing can go wrong .

I can't wait, when I was at the site a couple of weeks ago- I was looking at the frame and pyramid tents in the wind and wishing I had my Izzy not the Icarus - tomorrow I hope it holds upto all my hopes.

Good luck Dozy - I'm off tomorrow morning too, early start as the site opens at 10am and I want to get a good pitch (it's my first festival!). I'm all packed too, apart from the coolbag with the frozen spag bol and the milk etc which is a last minute thing.

I keep looking at the weather reports too and they all say different things. But the general gist is it could be drizzly for part of the day tomorrow and saturday, and hopefully sun on Sunday and Monday. Fingers crossed!

Have lots of fun, I am yet to try a festival, but would like to give it a bash.

Nothing wrong with getting excited, we go to Cornwall on Sunday for the week and I don't know who is more excited about camping - my daughter at 5 years old or me at 42.
