Have been browsing the net for an extension for my Oakland XL and it roughly sells for £169.99. After much trawling I managed to find one on valuetents for £99.99.
Went to Go Outdoors today and they had it in stock for £165 and they did their magic and got it at a staggering £90
To say I am chuffed is an understatement! I think I will become their most loyal customer although I might cost them a few quid in price matching
well done. You certainly seem to have got a bargain.

I got our Oakland XL side extension for £69.00 (It fits the Norfolk lake and our Wynnster Hawk 8 perfectly) with free super saver delivery from Amazon in June. It pays to shop around. Everywhere else was looking for over £100

We bought an Oakland XL and extension last year from GO. The extension was less than £70 which shows how their pricing works.
BTW your first job is to reinforce the stitching on the guy ropes with the hooks on the end which fasten the extension to the tent - it's a very weak point.
We have used ours twice and on both trips this stitching failed - the extensions don't like wind, so be prepared to dismantle it if the weather gets wild.
they are very good. we were looking at a tent for 149 but after going instore yesterday so they are going to have it on offer for £99 tomo so hubby is going to pick it up then :)

We always check out Go Outdoors before we buy anything and then go on the internet and see if we can beat their prices. If we can find it cheaper, print it off go along to Go Outdoors and they match it no problem and give you 10% extra off. You really cant expect anything better than that can you! Recent purchase was Outwell pot set and we saved over £20 on Go Outdoors versus internet price using price match.
