Well, have been camping many years and this year we saw a first - the group (about 4 families) next to us brought a projector and showed movies on the side of their van. Oh and they also brought a small bouncy castle and bubble machine!

Amazing!

Actually while I think of it had another first when we arrived back at said site and flock of sheep had invaded the camping field. Kids loved helping the farmer round them up and chase them back into their field.

Actually also had a first earlier in the summer, on a lovely little quiet camspite in Wales and came back to find three piggies rampaging around the field and troughing at our unwashed dishes . Had to herd them off with pig nuts back to their field.

Never a dull moment camping!

wow, I thought other campers would have been a little worried about bubbles??  

Love the idea of the projector tho!  thats brill.

I've seen bubble bottles on several occasions this year camping and consequently informed the parents that the mixture will damage the waterproofing of a tent if a bubble lands on it. All of them had no idea that this was the case and immediately confiscated the bubble mixture. They seem harmless and cheap forms of entertainment for the children if you don't know the consequences of these and washing up liquid....
