So good to hear that you both are recovering. Many good wishes from Denmark!
By the way - did Georgia ditch the "fatty knickers" or will she keep them as a "souvenir"?

Wow so much has happened since i last read your post. I am so glad that you decided to take over staying with your daughter that night at the hospital so you were in the right place to be able to get sorted out.
Pingvin, she's still got the fattie knickers, and I'm sure she'll have fond memories every time she looks at them
Tidburyboy, I really don't know what I was playing at. The whole experience when I ended up going through the mill was almost surreal. I called up my GP on Friday morning to let her know what had gone on and she was really interested as she hadn't been able to find the cause of my random moments of breathlessness that I've been having for a few months now. The GP had already referred me to Royal Sussex to be fitted with a 24 hour ECG monitor, but wasn't sure that would have got them any nearer to finding out what was going on. She said it was really fortunate for me that the docs at Royal Surrey were so on the case and did every single thing possible to find out what was wrong, and this has probably saved me from something far worse! The GP is bringing my case up at their next case review meeting as she thinks it's something they can learn a lot from.
Everyone, Georgia is well and truly on the mend now. She's not having to take many painkillers, and is having heaps and heaps of sleep. It's such a relief to see her getting back to her old self (and managing to argue a bit with siblings )
Also, we're keeping the tents out as we are now planning a trip for in a month or two. There is so much that Georgia had planned for this term and is now missing out on, such as her Duke of Edinburgh expedition (only a one nighter, but she can't do that now), her Combined Cadet Force army camp, and climbing etc. We need to do something otherwise she'll go stir crazy!
