It seems that poly tents attract flies for some reason.
Maybe because poly tents are hotter (in daytime when the sun shines...)? It seems that flies like warmth, I have lots of flies in the house at the moment, and they have a nasty habit of hoovering around my laptop, because it radiates some warmth.
On another thread I read the advice to get rid of the flies by buying an Outwell Montana 6. Zip it up with the flies inside, leave it for some hours on a sunny day, and voilą - the flies are all dead...
