We spent the weekend at the C&CC site, The Millpond. I am spoilt for anywhere else. The toilets and showers were soooooooo beautiful. My only dark spot was the old git who emptied his loo before me and left it all bobbing around, how lovely! Lol! Absolutely fab campsite though. Ducks and chickens everywhere and gorgeous scenery and a lovely pub just down the road that was full of dogs :-) I think that'll be our last trip this year now but it was a great one to end on.

Sounds lovely ...will have to look out for that one. It is a lovely part of the world and never very busy! Not too far from Staffs for us.

It's lovely there isnt it beautifully kept and always clean and tidy everyone really friendly we went for August Bank holiday and have to say because of them we now have chuckins :)
Drew and daughter had a great time fishing (BOOOOOOORING but they enjoyed ) infact on one day Erin caught 44 fish tiddlers but fish all the same

Hi Babyfish

Thats spooky you must have been there at the same time as us. We spent the Friday & Sat there and must admit thought we were mad as there was only a few hardy campers out and about there.

Totally agree with comments about the site and it as also a nice surprise to see the assistant holiday managers remembered us from Bala when they were there 3 weeks ago. (Not sure if thats a good thing!)

Would definately make it one to return to next year.

Still off again next weekend to Cambs and that will be it for this year.
