last year when i was on a touring / camping trip in scotland, i popped into a Craigdon mountain sports shop and they had quite a comprehensive catalogue printed in colour. the catalogue had details of clothing for outdoor activities, camping equipment, tents, carpets, extensions etc.

who else has these traditional catalogues? im sure they are a dying breed of another of years gone by way of shopping!.

i love sitting relaxing with a bottle of wine and looking through and reading about different tents and camping accessories in a way thats just not the same using the computer, you can flick backwards and forwards making comaprisons between different items.

does anyone else miss the traditional catalogues? i remember my parents used to get the Blacks catalogue which had loads of pages to peruse through!.

I have had a Towsure catalogue for the past couple of years and that is serious outdoor leisure porn. Not just camping but I generally mentally spend a couple of quid when I get it.

I've got the Towsure one too - I like it :o)
