We've done it a tht eend of October - a couple of years ago we got better weather than we did inthe August - yes it went cold at night but made sure we had warm pjs and plenty of bedding to keep up warm.
One year it was cold, but again we just wrapped up.
Been away in Auigust wehn it has been so wet windy and cold, that we spend a lot of time in our camper, with the heater on, and only got to trips out other than the local Morrisons for food.
