It sounds to me that you need a new tent. Just do a search for tents with 3 bedrooms and go from there.
hahahahaha NO the Montana is super.. but it would be just nice to have the option
Its a good idea but I think if you seen the size of the bedrooms if they were split into 3 they'd be too small to be useful. It would also mean the toggles in the tent would need to be somehow adjusted to accept either a two bedroom or 3 bedroom setup. From what i've heard its VERY expensive even for a replacement room for Outwell tents, so goodness knows how much a 3 room setup would be as an extra.

Personally I would never buy a tent with three separate 2-berth pods. Our Elody has the perfect bedroom arrangement - a 4-berth pod with a divider which can be rolled up, and a separate 2-berth pod. As there are just two of us, we use the 4-berth with our bed in the middle & space to get out each side, and the 2-berth is our wardrobe & ensuite
There are tents out there for that capacity? usually a 9berth split into 3x3 as we all know 3 man is really 2 man.. so i'm not sure what your issue is as there are tents out there with that spec just not the tunnel variety.

A choice would be nice. Also its like you are saying why did you not but the bigger tents insted of adding a awning/front extension side later.Or some may have extended there family to.
I've kept the bedroom divider from an old tent with the intention of separating one of the bedrooms into 2 "singles" for the kids, bit like keeping Siamese Fighting Fish apart!!. They've made such a fuss about it though, I've not had to do it yet. I'd intended just to pin it to the inner.
Your requirements are just why we went for Vango's version of the Montana 6 - the 2009 Columbia 600, exactly the same spec but with some added features including a 2/3 bedroom option. The extra inner we use as storage.
You can always create your own in the form of optional divider(s) - by sewing some toggles inside the existing inner and getting some tent fabric from one of the specialist suppliers - lightweight and flame retardant. Hem and add elastic with rings to match the toggles. Not as good as a zipped divider, but certainly works.
I've made a whole host of modifications to our tents over the years to make them just that little bit better for us...
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!

My Amazon 600 has 3x2 rooms.
We've always had this setup, as I feel it's better for the kids (1 boy, 1 girl) to have their own space to set out as they want, or to go for quiet time.
We have no problem with space for the beds, though admittedly we do prefer sims & sleeping bags.
Having the option of 3x2 or 2x3 would be a bit like when you buy a new car, you start with the shell and add in the options you want. No doubt it would add to the cost for this modularity, but it might be popular.
