Thanks for all the replies, all very helpful..

We normally go Camping down to the New Forest so the Choice of electric is not there, well on Hollands wood it's not anyway.  However we was in Rye last week in a Caravan and noticed that they had tent pitches which had electric hookup's  (Park Resorts) so had a peek on their website and they have a fair few Sites about the UK which also have tent pitch'es..  I do understand that camping is about roughing it but the sites all have entertainment for the kids which is a bonus to keep little'n amused and has decent food and alcohol to keep us amused :)

So seemed like a good idea and considering they offer 16amps which going by the posts seems good, and the cost is about £20 a night the same we are paying for normal ptiches about the UK

Yep Park is great value for money if you don't mind the facilities being a bit grubby. Our couple of days camping was at a park resort and I don't believe the shower block was even checked as the bin wasn't emptied, the soap run out and the shower cubicles were filthy, I'm not talking 'built up' grime in need of a thorough clean but just plain dirty as the soap dishes were black. Can't complain to much really though as I paid using my Tesco clubcard points and booking again for next year (although not the same site).
