Hey all

Me and my partner are looking at getting ourselves an outwell bear lake 4 for longer camping trips. We managed to have a look at a bear lake today in go outdoors although it was a six. I couldn't seem to find a place to get a electric hook up into the tent though. I was aspecting maybe a flap to open up on the canvas or on the ground sheet.

Can any advise me on this. Thanks!

I used to feed it through the back where the zips start. zip 1 side, stick the cable through, then do the other zip - hole is just big enough for the cable (cant get the plug through once it is zipped up)

I misread the post title, I thought it said

Electric hook up through a BEER lake. I was thinking, I want to be camping with them

-------------
Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.

I don't know about the Bear Lake specifically but the EHU access on my tent is just a short zipped slit below the door. If there isn't a specific EHU access then as Val has said, just run the cable through the door and zip up to it. It's actually easier to do that because you don't have to thread the entire cable through a narrow slit.

It goes in thru the zip in groundsheet, at a join. There's no specific flappy thing for it n the ones with a zig.

In our Bearlake six to the front of the side doors in the gap between the zips on the ground sheet is where ehu comes in it is marked with a plug on the canvas with an arrow pointing to gap also there is velcro fastners running up the inside of the pole for fixing the cable for an overhead light. hope this helps.
