Indeed. My point was that some of the Hi Gear inventory is based on Gelert design and manufacture and if it is true that Yeomans have bought Gelert as a whole (this story refers to the brand, which isn't necessarily the physical operation), it potentially removes a design/manufacture/supply option from Yeomans arch rival Go Outdoors.

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
Go pulled the higear contract form gelert months ago,they had to close one of their warehouse and why they were in trouble for yeomans to buy it ! Be interesting when they sell gelert to halfords and scarfel rock to argos and tesco etc as you would think yeomans would be selling it the cheapest !
Im confused too. Weren't Yeomans in trouble not 6 months ago. I vaguely remember people here worrying that they were going to the wall and they'd ordered from them and not received thier goods. Maybe im wrong though.
It'll be nice to see what Gelert and Yeomans pull out of the bag though. Im a bit of a Gelert fan, but im not much of a Yeomans fan to be honest.
