Oooo, Stratford Electric Stove, welcome to easy glamping my excuse when I bought ours was its raised off the floor and somewhat protected from above too unlike a regular fan heater.
Please say I'm not the only one who keeps coming back incase someone has bought something that I NEED but didn't realise until its mentioned
I was amazed at the heat it gives off to be honest, that's 365 day a year camping now firmly sorted
Ours is only 1800w but still kicks out the heat well, we camped for a couple of nights in October and although the mornings were cold once the heater was on it was really cosy. Our first planned camp is Easter which is unpredictable for weather so its definately being packed, we're taking the frame tent so more space to heat but we'll see.
The funny bit is we picked this up purely as it fitted in with the tent look (lame I know), now finding that we wont have to sneek the smaller blow heater along too (to do the real heating) is a real welcome bonus, safety cut our feature was another reason as we have been known to leave the older heater on during the winter camping nights.
The even dafter bit was we only went in to get paint lol..camping never far away from our thoughts it appears
Hmmmmm, we've both given up on the practical excuses for at least 30% of the contents of the tent now...indulgence is a crime that I'm happy to plead guilty to...but if an excuse is necessary then five days a week are given over to work, the other two ours and we kind of feel we've earned the right to be frivolous
