Planning a camping  trip for easter weekend, this will be the first time with the 2 new additions little one will be 9 months and puppy will be 6 months the other two children will be 8 and 3 am i crazy, i am hoping it will be fun and enjoyable if we can find a site with good walks for dog or forest near by where dogs can walk, my eldest loves camping and him and middle child been before but we never took our old dog with us he always visited family but i want to take him. What do you take for your dogs and what do you do with them ours sleeps in a cage at home???????????.

Also not sure if we should take the travel cot for littleone will test new tent when it arrives to see what will fit in, just brought it then read bad reviews on a different site nightmare but also had good reviews bad ones where about leaky seams and pole breaking in galeforce winds, we always take a can or waterproofing with us to do when we put new tents up especially if we dont have time to do it at home before we go. So fingers crossed it is okay and tent will be nice looks nice but the pic was of the 4+2 model and was assured it same but bigger and they only did a one of 8 model and thats y there is no info on it, is what i have been told hope i not been done they have a good feedback and rep on ebay. hubby will not be happy if i buggered up

Well i am dubious about  what i brought and have contacted lichfield as there are n extras to go with it as it seems they say it s a one of they listed it as a lichfield sandwood 8 when i sent him a question saying i cant find that one on internet google or anywhere he replied saying it was a one of made rrp supposed to be 575 so i am worrying now but havent had any probs or heard any probs with the ebay company before ??????? they only made a lichfield sandwood 4+2 or a carradale 8 and they said they havent got the name wrong

re read the message they sent me and they said it was a sample tent only one was produced by lichfield for display purposes only

Sample tents have a reputation for better quality as NOT mass produced.

Take the puppy and his cage, dogs LOVE camping.

Relax and enjoy yourself

UKCS seems to attract more than its fair share of people who are concerned about their mental health. So many posts ask 'Am I insane?' that there is obviously an epidemic of psychiatric hypochondria among UKCS members.

Those who feel they are suffering from mental illness may be reassured to learn that the medical establishment regards outdoor leisure pursuits as a normal healthy activity. So if you enjoy year-round activities such as camping, you have nothing to worry about. You do not need to see a doctor, psychiatrist or therapist - you are not 'mad', 'loony', or 'crazy' but simply doing what thousands of other well-balanced sane people do.

By all means go Pubgal..I'm sure you will enjoy yourself..Tired but happy is what I'm thinking what with a 9mths old baby and a 6mths old pup...Both magnets for every early teenage girl on the site, wanting to walk the pup..or take the wee one for a spin in the pram....

Jelboy.
