I've been watching out for these as although we weren't into camping this time last year I had read alot about the £1 camping. I'm sure they were out in march but I could be wrong, hopefully someone in the know will see this soon.
We used them last year, and found that the 95p camping was a con,the site we went to after being told they accepeted the told us they would give us a 10% discount on site fees only.A lot of complaints were generated by people who did not read the smallprint, where it stated ehu, pets etc were subject to their standard charges,Also these tokens can only be used in mid or low season.Over all though it's a good way to get the papers circulation up.,or maybe I'm just old and cynical.
They usually print them around end of April/Mayafter the big Easter dash.

I don't know why people are so cynical over these vouchers we used them to good effect you were paying for a pitch only! if you wanted EHU, take a dog, extra people ect or whatever that campsite deemed as extra then you had to pay it on top it was pretty simple.
We stayed at Riverside in Southport alot last year on these vouchers the pitch price was originally £17= 95p (or thereabouts) then you paid extra for EHU (£3) or a dog (£1.50)as thats all they charged extra for.
People thought they were a con when they went to a campsite with a different pricing structure ie. charged per pitch, then per person, EHU, day tent, dogs etc (it didn't really work out very cost effective that way as you may have only saved £4 on the pitch price).
Anyway it worked ok for us.

We used then last year for a weekend and had no problems, but then we don't have ehu,we went to a site that charges per pitch, the dog was free..so hoping they bring them out again this year, love a bargain.

and lots more besides
We used these vouchers a few times and found it to be good VFM. The 95p/£1 is for the pitch only, you still pay for any extras which means you'll pay between £3 and £5 a night for a pitch with ehu.The main problem with them is they're always for off peak periods, not an issue for us in years gone by but now the kids are at school will be harder for us to take advantage of.
We collect the voucher's every year but tend to use the Sun Voucher's more than the Daily Mirror. We went to Scotland for 4 day's ,£1 for the pitch and £3 a night for the ehu a total cost of £16.
We've used them 2 years on the trot. It's hard work finding a site but when you are only paying 95p a night you can't really grumble at it.
We've found sites that are for 95p per tent but have not used EHU (but then we weren't used to having ehu.All we really wanted was a toilet for us to consider it for just a night, but we found sites with showers and toilets and even a bar (one was just weekend bar though) so stayed for a few nights first year and a week last year.
We did travel to find our bargains though, but worth it. We phoned up and double checked on the conditions before we left home.
There was one close to us (Staffordshire, so reasonable distance for Alton Towers) that accepted the vouchers, but it was at a site that didn't have a toilet 24/7. Had hoped to stop there for a night when the kids were at respite but never managed to get them all at respite at the same time.
Not seen anything about it for this year though. Would love to collect again for this year.
