I can't stop buying 'stuff' for camping, but, we haven't even BEEN camping yet! I'm addicted. Today I bought a camping magazine that has a free camp site map on it.
I can't wait, we go April 2nd for our first ever family camp. I've been myself lots, as a child and as a singleton, but, we've never been as a family. I am already looking for somewhere for Summer breaks too.
How many times do you have camping breaks? I am even thinking that I might find a local-ish site to get the tent up for a week or two in the summer even if DH is not off, after all if its close enough he can commute to work from there! ha!
Join the club of the addicts, you'll be in good company!
I go on average 6 trips a year, including camping in the colder months, in order to get my fixes.
I doubt the buying will ever stop, nevermind.

He he Ygerna it is very addictive and you will always find something that helps improves your camping experience or is an improvement on what you've got.
Yes it is definitely addictive, we try to fit in about 5 or 6 trips a year from March to October.

Certainly very addictive! I did 11 trips last year, 9 long weekends and two 11-day ones, plus a couple of day visits to sites where friends were camping. And when I don't go away I get my fix by looking round camping stores

I have a very temperamental personality - 50% temper and 50% mental
Unfortunately once you have the addiction, there is no cure so things can only get worse! We camped once a year for a number of years. Last year we camped for approx 80 days including 27 weekends and there's even more pencilled in for this year We get withdrawal symptoms when we don't get away - love it!
I am planning on about four trips this, although, if I can persuade OH will book more (funds depending). I am still buying too, just can't help myself. Am buying my boys micro towels instead of Easter eggs. I got one for Christmas and it will save so much space, I figured if the got them to, I could fit more kit in the car! Lol.

August 2013, 14, 15, 16 & 17-Trevornick for two and a half weeks of sea and surf (and ever optimistic -lots of sun). Some other weekends if I can persuade DH
We've found a nice small site 35 mins away, dont need to book, so if we decide to camp after work on a Fri ,we just go. Bought a Vango Icarus 400, just for these trips. lovely tent for 2 of us, easy and quick to pitch.
And in the winter, trip to Go Outdoors for my fix!! Sad?
