My words of wisdom would be..... make a list check it at least twice then when you buy the food and beer go back for more beer and whatever the weather just enjoy yourselves.

My words of wisdom would be make sure your car is filled up with petrol so at least you can get there (doesn't matter if you can't get back)

Has everyone gone mad???? Petrol stations around us are completely dry.

pack the tent on top is one thing I've read and hope to remember. the tesco across the water in Dundee is to the left of the bridge you just follow the signs to perth after you leave the bridge. that's a big tesco and will have pretty much everything you could need. there's a buy one get one free in the pine valley outdoorsy shop in the wellgate centre in Dundee. mountain warehouse is in the pedestrian precinct ( Murray gate) but hopefully you won't need anything at all and you'll have a fabulous time. forecast is sadly for cooler weather than the recent heatwave.

lots of pics would be great so don't forget the camera ;)

Great news.  You will love the campsite. How kind of the owners to open up early. The owners go out their way to help you.  There is a nice wee pub just down the road within walking distance.  The views are stunning too.  I am sure you will be impressed.  Have a fab trip

It's likely to be a bit chilly overnight, so I will repeat the keep warm tip and agree with Cliff - keep the beer cold lol.

Mainly though, the best tip is to enjoy just yourselves
