We took a gamble.
North Wales in the first week of the season was a risk - but we decided to give it a go and YES, it worked a treat. We timed it perfectly to get some decent weather ....

We stayed at Aberafon, right on the coast and had a full field with EHU to ourselves for 3 nights .... a large group of us with lots of kids .... great fun.

Amazingly we were sat in shirt sleeves around a camp fire on the beach on 1st April in the sunshine and yet two days later it was snowing !!! phew.

The only slight downside was the torrential rain we had when packing away, but we weren't complaining.

Trip Number 1 of 2012 completed.

Anyone else get away this last weekend ?

yep have been away the last 3 weekends camping with the tent, weather been good for all of them!

Now away for 9 nights in the tintent at Cornwall....so pretty lucky must admit, as I have seen the forecast!
