Am I crazy in wanting to go to one of the Yeomans displays this weekend? Thinking of trying the one in Lewes, but Im thinking it will be heaving....

Anyone been yet? Is it worth it? Im not buying, I just need a tent fix!

Do you mean the one at Firle if so I went an was a wate of time for me. But to be honest I reallly wanted to see the Vango AirBeams and they did not have any so just had a look in the indoor display and was agin disapointed as there was less than half the amount of stuff they usually have. I was in and out the gates in less than 10 minutes.

Thats the one. It will take us about an hour to get there (and having to do the dartford bridge on a bank holiday weekend!) so I wanted to see if it was actually worthwhile. I really want to see the new Outwells, as well as having a look at some of the pop-ups if they do them.

Looked in at Lewes yesterday as we were passing and had exactly the same experience as mrmara. Think we may have stayed 15 minutes though ...

I would have been very disappointed if we had made a special trip.

You may have more luck at SK Camping at South Godstone (just off the M25). It gets mixed reviews as far as purchasing is concerned but has a good outdoor display.

Camping World at Horsham is also not too far from the M25/M23 and has a good display as well. Also great coffee and cake at the adjoining garden centre.

Went on Tuesday to the Lewes/Middle Farm show, bit lacklustre if I'm honest, fewer tents on display than previous years, I think four polycotton/Lake tents up in total if thats your intrest.

Probably not worth a long old drive unless you plan to do the farm visit whilst there too (not much in there either if I'm honest, unless you like chickens). Drusillas is not far if you wanted to make a day of it. (check prices online).

Busy? for sure.

went to the display in calver and must say it was a big let down for me, think we stayed 15 minutes after a 40 minute drive to get there.

We went to the one in calver last year and was disapointed. Not going to bother going this year.

As well as wanting to have a nosy round the tents I went for two chairs but they didn't have them in stock so I ended up ordering them on line.
