hi there - you would have to cut slots out of the carpet  to not obstruct the sleeping pods which are attatched to the  ground sheet  if you overlay into the living room.  i have same tent and have  bought  the same carpet and cut them down to fit in each bedroom  hope this helps - shaun

my mrs is good on a sewing machine , so she just had to tidy the ends  ,  by folding over and run it under machine works perfect you have got one original side which goes to the door entrance the stitched side is  at the back you never see it. you feel warmer just looking at it ha-ha  well worth it in my opinion thanks shaun

we bought  large carpets in the same outwell pattern off ebay (they weren't the carpets for the vermont, think they may have been for the montana or minnosita) and cut down the one carpet into 3 sections (the cut edges did not fray) for the bedrooms, we used the other two large carpets in the lounge area. to wash them I hung them over the washing line and hosed them down, very quick drying and did not loose their shape.

i really missed the vermont, the space and configuration suited us perfectly, just a shame it was such a heavy tent and took up too much room in trailer and unfortunately we struggled to dry it as our garden is too small
