could you use a heated blanket on an air bed?? Next week end our friends are coming to stay in our annex in the awning we are getting heated blankets for the pullman but i was wondering if they could use one?
They have given cold nights, i have told them to sleep on a duevt on top of air bed, then sleeping bags then throw over them. We also have a radiator which we will leave on for them in the awning!!
I put a fleece blanket on top of the airbed first, then the electric under-blanket, then a sheet over it.

My double air-bed did developed a leak eventually, however, I do not believe that was related to the use of an electric under-blanket.
Warming the plastic of the airbed will make it more gas-permeable and will deflate quicker.
However, I did not need to blow mine up when I went on a 4-night trip in the past.

The warmer the bed, the more the condensation that will form undernieth it, so make sure you put something down in the ground first, such as thick old towels or a picnic blanket to absorb any moisture, and try and lift and dry them out by day, failure to do so could result in mildew forming in the undersides of the airbeds.
