We bought the front enclosed canopy to go with our Icarus 500. The problem is how to peg out the tents front guys with the canopy on and groundsheet down. If you don't peg them out the canopy pulls the front section of the tent down and it collects water.

With so many Icarus owners out there someone must have an answer.
Vango don't !!!

At a guess i would say your pulling the canopy too tight when you attach it to the tent.

We have a Nevada M with Front canopy and never use the front guys when the canopy is on as the canopy guys tension the front of the tent.

Have a look in the reviews or galleries for some pictures of the canopy attached, might give you some clues maybe?

Have a look at the vango videos on facebook, we set ours up like this, with the originals tent guy ropes in site the canopy at the side and have no problems.

Thanks Sam I'll try to slacken it off next time. I have looked at the photos and reviews on here but most people have pics of the open canopy. Or with enclosed canopy but you can't see inside properly
Only problem with pegging out inside the canopy, purple rain, is the groundsheet won't fit properly with guy lines and pegs inside.

As for the videos, I've never seen any on Facebook. Looked at the vango video on you tube but again it doesn't show the front guys.
