im hoping to do a one nighter this friday if i can persuade the wife...its not far away but even if its only for one night i still take everything with me and never use half the stuff..at the moment im writing a checklist as to what we deffo need ..and dont..even now you would think we were going for a week. we have the chance to go electric which means..ehu..fan heater..electric kettle..light...or just use gas heater/refils..i must admit iv a better chance of persuading the missis if we have hook up...she always cold no matter what months we go.. as we speak im awaiting a delkivery of 2 tfg thermal fleeced bedchair covers..extra warmth for her ..and me...anyway shes home from work soon so fingers crossed she will agree to go..i dont drive so i cant go on my own..see you soon

Good luck you sound just like me with all our equipment just for a weekend and trying to convince the hubby we can still camp in the cold/rain! Did she agree?

Another one here! Hubby keeps dropping hints about the awful weather forecast but we are going this weekend no matter what! We didnt get away at Easter because he needed to work and the weather was very cold. This is the first time we have had chance to get away since then.

I havent booked the site yet but we should be able to get EHU. I will take the fan heater but probably just the small single burner gas stove.

I am going to the site on Friday afternoon to set up then will come back and get hubby after work. Its the first time we have tried this so I just hope I dont have any problems putting the tent up!
