I'll only be taking a one ring stove with me and was wondering if anyone had any gluten, dairy and egg free recipes. I'll be taking genius bread and sainsbury's free from jam tarts (wow these are delish) and a selection of ff cookies.
So for breakfast it will be ff porridge or bacon sandwich.
I'll be walking in the day time and I'm stuck on ideas for a backpack lunch.
Was thinking bacon and rice for tea but this is boring lol.
Any ideas will be really appreciated, I can't think of anything :(
I'm wheat and nut intolerant so buy free from foods. It's a case of reading labels and mostly I eat as I might at home. Some butchers and supermarkets sell gluten free sausages. Tinned tomatoes, mushrooms, courgettes sliced and cooked together with herbs and tuna then put over gluten f ree pasta with grated cheese on top is a good filling meal that is fairly quick. There are some ready meals in pouches which are gluten free. As a change to porridge - if you can eat oats - oatibisks are ok.

hi,my wife is a coeliacs ,the easiest thing we have found when only having one ring is to take a wok and make stir fry her latest craze is rice noodles they are delicious
we have found that packed lunches are hardest to cater for
Ooooh I've never seen rice noodles before and I've just googled them and tesco popped up, thanks Graham I've now got lots of ideas of what to do with them
was going to suggest stir fry with rice noodles too.
can you have corn based tortillas? Maybe have them as wraps?
Any type of stew thickened with powdered potato (ie smash as long as it is dairy free) with tinned potatoes, carrots, peas etc Depending on ingredients of tins you could just get tinned stew, tinned veg, tinned potatoes and mix?
You could cook some rice and put it in a pot with some chopped up veg - peppers, cue, toms, carrots and either some ham or tuna. I like that mixed with yoghurt and a little curry powder.
Perhaps pasta salad or maybe even just salad salad. Bean salad is easy to make and transport. You could stick ham in with it or chopped up frankfurters.

thanks for your replies everyone, I've now got a few ideas based around rice noodles and my staple rice. I'll also take salad and some tinned food, I didn't think about tinned potatoes *doh*
you need to google hugh fearnley whittingstal and noodles, he does wonderful things that are way better than any pot noodles - and it only takes a kettle of boiling water to heat up the noodles ( or a flask of hot water)
