Well we just changed our booking from the Park Resorts site at Kessingland to C&CC site in Kessingland. Park Resorts said they too wet to camp but we can turn up if we like and were not that helpful.Rang C&CC site who have booked us onto a pitch instead - they say the ground is soft but well drained and they have closed off unsuitable pitches. Didn,'t want to cancel as promised kids we are going to Africa Alive! Wasted our original pitch fees but guess that's the chance you take...

Park should have offered to use your fees against another stay, I had a call yesterday but said I would call back today as would rather go this weekend than a weekend in the summer holidays Call Parks main number explaining the ground is too wet to camp and hopefully you can use it for another time.

Your better off at this site as not only are you next door to .A. Wild the kids can hear the animals especially roaring lions at night. More so if weather warmer.but still hear other species. Dont forget you % off, take you receipt of your paid camping fees into the AW as you maybe can still get some % off. Because your on their land camping next door anyway.
The fields are so well drained it is great there. The car boot weather permitting is on Sunday morning. Lowestoft about 4 mile away. You will like it. We go fairly regularly as one of our last posts of call for a week - 2 weeks. Don'y need your car for travelling next door do you.
off to the red squirrel campsite tom for 2 nights with my wife, father in law and our black lab ben. we will be up the mountains on sunday and in the clachaig inn on both sat and sunday night. always good.
We're off to north Wales tomorrow... Everything packed and ready to go. Praying for a dry hour just while we set up then another one on Monday while we pack away, fingers crossed.
To all that are camping this weekend, have a great one...
At The Travellers Rest, Cambridge. It's cold! Had the heater on since we arrived. Had to spin the Maritsa this morning as the rear vents invited lts of wind in last night, we now have a badly erected tent and I'm well jealous of the Outwell opposite.
