This will be our second year of camping and last year we didn't go until July so not used to camping in bad weather, although it has rained every time we have been not just to the extent we have had recently, anyway we are due to go camping this weekend to flamingo land, I emailed them to ask what the situation was like and they have just replied to say the camping/tourer field is still fairly wet.
I've checked the met office and so far no more rain forecast there (until we are due to leave!) so to those more experienced campers would you still go? We have paid a deposit and are going for a birthday with another family so not like we can have the birthday another weekend!

if you dont have one then maybe a footprint would be a good buy. You can make your own cheaply from tarp rather than buying anything specific. Rubber mats and/or duckboard may also be useful for just outside your tent.

Andrea, we're going to Flamingoland for the Jubilee weekend. I'd be interested to hear how you're stay was. We've been to the theme park before but haven't stayed on site.
